The
Garston Gallopers began life in September 2009 when the village fete
committee was unable to book a Morris Dancing side to perform at the
fete. Someone had the bright idea of villagers taking up the challenge
to learn Morris dancing so after only three (very enjoyable) lessons,
a nervous group walked out wearing the East Garson colours of green
and purple, between marquees and danced at the fete. Some members of
the group were hooked and we have continued from there.
