Thursday July the 5th 2007. The place Manor Farm, East Garston in Berkshire. The occasion? - an event organized by the Ox & Bucks branch of the Army Air Corps Association. I was here at the express invite of Robs Lamplough to capture the day in pictures, as it unfolded.
Robs running through the final check list while the catering staff quietly and efficiently prepare midday lunch for the associations members and guests.

The event was due to start at 1100 hours and right on cue our visitors began to arrive at the airstrip. We were treated to what appeared to be an unscheduled fly past by this by Denis E Wood. Manufactured Velocity 173RG.  The plane is a four seat - Amateur-Built aircraft powered by a Lycoming IO-540 SER engine.

At 11.37 eyes were directed skyward as a formation of  six assorted aircraft roared overhead.   Three minutes later the first chopper came into view over the crest of the airstrip - The Army Air Corps had arrived
