Captain's XI verses Vice Captain's XI

Greenwich the team we were supposed to be playing called off as they couldn't get enough players to form a team. As we had the pitch booked we thought we would have a match to give our chaps a bit of practice.

On Sunday June 8th on a beautiful sunny afternoon East Garston Cricket Club held a special "fun match" between Captain's lX (Mick Highnett) and Vice Captains 1X (Pete Stone) at Lambourn Sports Club.   Vice Captain's lX won by 100 runs!! but it was generally agreed that everyone enjoyed the game and the fantastic tea provided.
