Dinner 2004"
Hampshire and England Bowler, Shaune Udal was guest of honour
at the annual Presentation Dinner held at the Queens Arms Hotel
on Saturday the 20th of November 2004.

| Peter
and Diana Smith, who kindly sponsor the team, and Stan and Sara
Moore, who donated an impressive trophy to be played for every
year in a special match between East Garston and a team from The
Plough at Eastbury were also welcomed to the Presentation Evening
|
Team members spouses and friends enjoyed
an excellent meal before Shaune Udal was introduced. He enthralled
everyone with stories of life as
a first class cricketer He also very kindly brought a Hampshire
Cricket Shirt to be auctioned. The proceeds of £240 was
split between Hampshire Cricket Club and East Garston Cricket
Club.

| The
awards for the year were presented by Shaune and went to, Russell
Highnett (Players Player), Colin
Pounds (Captain's Player) and Martyn
Donno (Most Improved Player). |
Wendy, Bonnie and Dawn
were presented with the "Champagne Moment Award" for
help given to the club throughout the season. |
| Dawn and
Wendy's "Special Awards" were given to Colin (the Kat)
Pounds, John (Umpire) Hing and Sue (Bleach Queen) Hayes. |
| A framed
photo of the 2004 team was presented to Roger Keat to mark his
retirement as Captain.
A most enjoyable evening was had by all and as a result of the
shirt auction and a raffle £360 was raised for the cricket
club funds. |
