East Garston Social Club continues
it's quest to ever widen the scope of entertainment it provides
for the community as a whole. Across the years we have enjoyed
many types of live music here in the Berkshire countryside.
Ska, Country & Western, Reggae,
good old Rock 'n Roll, and even a German Beer
Keller evening, have all put in appearances.

One genre of music
that has to my knowledge, never been featured here before, is
"Heavy Metal" ~ Enter "Night
Prowler" a three man metal group featuring Nathan
on Drums, Ben on Bass Guitar with Mike on Lead Guitar and Vocals.

where you can listen to three recorded tracks, they also have

Heavy
Metal music is not really my bag so, when Ray Baker asked me
to come along and take a few photos I genuinely wasn't
at all keen to do so.
My perception was that my ears would have to endure a very loud
cacophony of noise, masquerading as music. Well, Loud
it was, "A noise-?" ~ it most certainly WASN'T.
The energy and musical talent that these boys presented did
~ in my opinion, put many of our so called celebrity groups
to shame. This event confirmed
the old saying ~ "You should never judge a book by it's
cover" ~ I am really pleased now that I decided to go along.
