| Preparations
for the Jubilee celebrations of 2002 here in East Garston
had been at fever pitch for the two or three days prior
to the actual event. The weather had been very accomodating
to the organizers, allowing a mixed and varied programme
of events to be arranged that was to include all age
groups. |

| And
so it was on a gloriously warm June day the whole community
set out to enjoy one of those rather special major events
that East Garston is so adept at "Putting On."
For those in attendance, I hope these photos re-kindle
