Friday evening was the turn of  Susan Rixon, a family history researcher who enthralled us all with fascinating tales about the East Garston families of Early, Wooldridge and Bowsher in the 19th century.

Pictured above - just part of the research work carried out by Susan on our behalf. She and husband David --- (pictured below right) had traveled up from Devon to be with us this evening.

Also forming part of the festival content - research work by Dawn and Glynis covering their ancestors and including a photographic reflection on their own personal lives here in East Garston over the years.
