The December 2010 Children's Service
The children of the parish in costume or party dress had their
special service when they re-enacted the Christmas story and experienced
the wonder of their Christingles in the candlelit church, before
departing for The Friends Meeting House for their traditional
children’s tea party. Many of them were with us again on Christmas
morning, some still in their costumes! |

Thank you to all who responded in whatever way, to our Gift Appeal
for Church funds. The money is still coming in and we have well
over £1000 so far. In addition our various collections, even after
we have made donations to Shelter, Christian Aid and The Children’s
Society, total another £1200. Thank you everyone across the parish,
for your outstandingly loyal and generous support. Christmas 2010
will remain in our memories for some time to come. |
