The old year was safely dispatched and the new one welcomed, in traditional style, with live music from the Village hall here in East Garston

Approximately 50 people attended the evening and were superbly entertained by "Nigeria Blonde" (Nigel and Maria). The music was varied and very professional, with the duo playing sets that suited every musical taste – look out for Maria on X Factor this year!

Celebrations went on 'til the early hours, and I think it's pretty clear from the photos that a good time was had by all.
