Thursday July the 5th 2007. The place Manor Farm, East Garston in Berkshire. The occasion? - an event organized by the Ox & Bucks branch of the Army Air Corps Association. I was here at the express invite of Robs Lamplough to capture the day in pictures, as it unfolded.
Robs running through the final check list while the catering staff quietly and efficiently prepare midday lunch for the associations members and guests.
The event was due to start at 1100 hours and right on cue our visitors began to arrive at the airstrip. We were treated to what appeared to be an unscheduled fly past by this by Denis E Wood. With all choppers safely down the fixed wing contingent of the AAC take their places on the airfield.
