A great day was had by one and all at the East Garston Food Festival and Produce Show on  Saturday the 21st of July. The sun shone all day long and helped towards a very high attendance with an estimated 600 people coming down to join in the fun.

Charles Dowding, the highly respected champion of "no dig" gardening, travelled up from Somerset to judge the produce show - with an impressive number of entries considering the very difficult season we've had this year. Mr. Dowding also treated us to a fascinating talk in the demo area, further complimented by talks from Peter Studzinski on foraging, Brian Davis on wine and exciting live cookery demonstrations from Brittany Manning and James Venables.
