Approximately ten years ago (2002-2003) East Garston residents were invited to take photographs of their everyday life on one particular day, giving a fascinating snapshot of life in the village. It was decided that this years fete based photo competition would follow the same lines. The date selected was Wednesday the 26th of June 2013.

The response was excellent, although looking at some of the submitted entries, it would appear some had mis-interpreted the theme as a day in the Life of an East Garston Resident- and not a day in the life of East Garston. However it matters not a jot - the photos were of excellent quality and the obvious enjoyment gained by taking part  is plain to see. Thank you to each and everyone of you.
