12 hour sponsored fund raising event.

| Running
from Mid-day through to Midnight, the challenge of a twelve hour
sponsored games marathon was taken on, and duly completed by a small
team of East Garston Social Club members. As Club Chairman Alan
Money put it; "We survived after all but at the end off the
12 hours, we were all totally shattered". |

| In
all, the team endured sixty-four games of pool, one hundred games
of darts, and forty games of snooker, as well as several games of
table tennis and a few games of skittles. Throughout the twelve
hour time span, our team of players were joined at intervals by
a variety of local residents and other club members who came in
to show their support by playing us at pool and darts. |

| What's it all in aid of? ~ well the aim is to purchase a new 50inch flat screen television for the social club. This 12 hour event has raised between 8 and £900 towards the project, and the plan is to have the TV installed in time to show most if not all of the world cup series. |
