The 26th June brought our busiest day yet, and scorching sun! In the morning we danced in Lambourn Market Place, giving three fifteen minute performances over an hour and a half with much-needed breaks under the shade of a tree.

 

 

Vernham Dean Fete

From Lambourn we moved on to Vernham Dean, Hampshire where, in the afternoon, we danced twice at the Village Fete. After a surreptitious run-through behind some bushes we succeeded in including a new dance, the Henry Crabbe for our second performance.

As always, we are eternally grateful for the support of our melodeon players, Alan, Jim and Derek, and members of Kintbury Morris, Penny, Sylvia and Jean for their patience and time.
