For the second year running, we celebrated the Winter Solstice by dancing outside The Plough at Eastbury in the evening.

Despite few spectators, we enjoyed the dancing immensely and managed to persuade a few of our followers to join in the final dance.

Afterwards we headed inside the pub for delicious Pie and Pud. It turned out to be an excellent evening with music from our melodeon players and songs from Jim and Jon.

Later on, tables were pushed aside and Graham, the landlord/chef, joined us for a dance indoors. If only he wasn’t so busy he’d make an excellent addition to our team.
