Nintendo Wii Night

Electronic games competition for children & adults - January 2011

The wii night started promptly, most of the competitors were - as you'd expect - children who had played many wii games endlessly. This is perhaps why some adults were too frightened to enter. "Public humiliation" - very wise people!!   That said there were adults who braved the childrens experience and entered.  Many admitting defeat before they'd even entered the club,
They battled valiantly but quickly succumbed to their pre-determined fate.  Adults dropped like flies with all hope lying firmly on
Thomas Richards to retain some dignity for the grown-ups,  but Jenson put paid to that, - thanks Jense !!
In the end - The final came down to Aimee O'neill and Henrik Fairchild, Aimee came out on top and took her win very modestly. she then shared her prize - a box of Heros!! - with the other children,

It was a great success with plenty of neutral support for young & old, with a touch of harmless ribbing thrown in for good measure.
It could be that there will be some adults/parents, implementing restrictions on children playing the Nintendo wii at home - in order to get themselves some much needed practice before the rematch!!

Well done to Deanna & all who helped make it a fun family night.   Anyone wanting to go to the next one should start practicing now, as I'm certain you wouldn't want to miss a further opportunity to challenge the victors!!
