Being around
lunchtime, ones thoughts automatically turn to sustenance - and
the almost continuous line of hungry souls at the BBQ bear testament to the aroma and flavour of Ray and Adele's flamed burgers. |

Garston's own Morris Side returned to their home ground and provided
us with some very colourful and inspired dancing. Formed just
one year ago, they have appeared at several venues throughout the
preeceding twelve months, and gained the respect of many,
both within - and away from, the Morris Dancing world. |

Jackie Breadmore commented - "We were especially pleased to see our friends from Lumbawakk (another Morris side) who had journeyed from Didcot to support us and who joined in our final dances with enthusiasm". A member of Lumbawakk told us they came to Garston Village Fete to - "stalk our cyber stalkers Joanne and Jackie" - (??) After the final dance, an impromptu collection raised the fantastic total of £81 towards fete funds. |

2010 saw
a year of new introductions to fete activities, I may be wrong but
I think this is the first time that Archery has been featured. |

Fresh
pancakes - and an abundance of sumptuous looking cakes and scones,
raised over £400 on the day. |
